About the Fly Bar
Appalachian Outpost is the only fly shop sitting right on the Watauga River in Elizabethton, TN, and we carry Tennessee’s largest walk-in fly selection through our partnership with Roxstar Fishing. More than 3,000 patterns are available for in-store pickup, tuned for Watauga River hatches, South Holston tailwater conditions, and regional trout water across Northeast Tennessee and Southwest Virginia.
You can browse and order online at Roxstar, then pick up here at the shop, often the same day if it is already in stock. No shipping wait and no wondering if your flies will show up before your trip.
